Can laptop lithium batteries really give you testicular cancer if you leave the laptop on your lap?

laptop batteries

I hear that the lithium ions are small enough to pass through pretty much anything. So if you put a pillow under the laptop it would pass through and if you had the laptop on your lap you can get testicular caner from the lithium battery. Is this true??

  1. Not sure, but I read in a paper once that putting your laptop on your lap as a man can reduce fertility.

  2. siht hoop ik niet! ive had mijn op mijn overlapping al ochtend!

  3. I think that this has more mith than actual lab tests to back up that claim.

Sperm counts might be reduced as much through the heat from the laptop as any other cause.

Cancer does not require heat to reproduce, it requires acid. Drink soft drinks, and your body can become more acidic, and thus able to host cancer easier.

  4. I think that if there was truely a high chance that this would induce testicular cancer, then it would be a more well known fact, and that laptop companies would have to make this information public. I think they should do a mythbusters about this topic, and I personally doubt that it is possible.

  5. my friends who works with a laptop all day like 12Hr’s he never got it so no
