My laptop seems to have problems with videos when I use the Wifi connection Specificly the msnbc videos they start and stop until completely loaded yet the same videos run fine when I log onto a library traditional computer. Its a brand new expensive Gateway laptop. I’m thinking I need to change the speed under a setting or something. I don’t think its my laptop being of poor quality. Can anyone help?

So laptops don’t need voltage converters, but lots of mp3 players do. If I have my laptop charged into a 240 volt European outlet, is it safe to charge my mp3 player, via USB cable, off the laptop? Thank you!

Whenever I seem to get on my laptop, about ten minutes later, my laptop begins to overheat, and it freezes. I’ve had my laptop for about three years and I’ve never had this problem before. I also rarely use my laptop on soft surfaces such as the bed and the floor; it’s primarily on my desk. What are some possible causes of this occurrence? Is it just possibly dust in the fan?

I am currently looking for a good laptop to take with me to college next year. I looked at some Dell laptops and like what I see except for the poor battery life that many people complain about. Does any laptop brand have this problem or is it just Dell?

I am a travelling salesman. I sell VCDs and CDROMs from my van (mobile unit). I wish to connect my Dell Sempron laptop to an external battery in order to display the CDs to my customers at fairs and exhibitions.
